Teaching Innovations Programme in Economics (TIPE)
Teaching Innovations Programme in Economics (TIPE) aims to improve the curriculum and teaching of Economics in Colleges and University Departments across India. Professor K.N. Raj, the founding father of CDS, was a builder of institutions and a visionary who strived to improve the quality of teaching and research in economics in Kerala and elsewhere in the country. In order to commemorate his life and contributions to the larger community, CDS is privileged to have the launched the Programme on the basis of a generous grant made available to it by the Government of Kerala. The Programme was organized in response to a felt need to improve the quality of economics education at the undergraduate and graduate level. TIPE aims to strengthen the economics education by providing a week-long intensive training on specific basic courses.
