The Indian Society for the History of Economic Thought (ISHET), in collaboration with the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), is organising the 3rd ISHET Annual International Conference. As part of the conference, a keynote lecture titled “Knowing to Transform: Episodes from a History of the Experiment in Economics” will be delivered by Professor Harro Maas, Professor Emeritus in History and Philosophy of Economics at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

Professor Harro Maas is an eminent historian of economics and the author of William Stanley Jevons and the Making of Modern Economics (2005) and, with Andrej Svorenčík, The Making of Experimental Economics (2016). He is also the recipient of the Joseph Spengler Prize (2006) and the ESHET Best Monograph Award (2018).
