The Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, invites unpublished original research papers for a conference on the theme of Kerala and the World Economy to be held at the Centre on March 10 and 11, 2025. The conference intends to explore contemporary issues related to, but not limited to, Kerala and its integration with the global economy.
Papers that broadly connect with Migration, Trade, Inequality, Health, Public Finance, Industry, Labour and unemployment, Informal Economy, Gender, Agriculture, Plantation, Public Policy and Environment are of particular interest. Note, submissions addressing diverse viewpoints are encouraged; they could be conceptual studies or critical analyses of state policy. A session on poster presentation will also be arranged.

Submission of abstract : January 19, 2025
Intimation of acceptance of abstract : January 25, 2025
Full paper/poster submission : February 9, 2025
Conference : March 10 and 11, 2025
