This book is based on a study commissioned by Kerala Kudumbasree Mission with financial support from the National Rural Livelihood Mission. This is a comprehensive study of Kerala Kudumbasree Mission, which is one of the largest associational networks of women in India. It advocates the generation of self-employemnt among the women in economical weeker households. It also reveals the positive outcomes of improving living conditions and social and individual dignity.
