Development Researcher's Day 2026 - 10 Feb 2026

A one-day symposium on Researchers’ Development Day was held on 10 February 2026 at the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram. The event brought together distinguished professionals and policymakers to share insights and strengthen collaborations.

February 10 marks the death anniversary of Prof. K. N. Raj (1924–2010), the eminent economist, development scholar, policymaker, and institution builder. In late 2024, the Government of Kerala declared the day as Development Researchers’ Day. The symposium held on 10 February 2026 was organised in this context, commemorating his legacy and recognising the contributions of development researchers.
