Joan Robinson Hall, CDS View mapThe Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, is organising a workshop on Methods and Approaches to Research on Migration Issues from November 24-28, 2025.
This workshop, part of the state government-sponsored Research Programme on International Migration from Kerala (RPIMK), is an annual event designed to introduce participants to a range of problems, data sources, and analytical frameworks related to labour migration and population movements. The program will cover both quantitative and qualitative methods, with discussions grounded in specific migration-related issues in India and abroad.
Boarding and Lodging would be provided on Campus, free of cost to the selected participants. Travel costs would be reimbursed on producing tickets as per CDS rules (AC 3 tier/ bus) and through the shortest possible route.
